Michelle Best is the Executive Director for Quality Improvement, Patient Outreach, and Risk Adjustment for California. She currently works for Providence Medical Foundation and is based in Southern California. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including more than 28 years in management, Michelle brings extensive expertise to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. In addition, she has earned a Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma certification, an Executive Women in Leadership certificate from Cornell University, and most recently, achieved her CPHQ certification in December 2024.

Alexis is a Senior Director in the Provider Success division of Elevance Health, where she is a member of the department’s leadership team, overseeing select strategic initiatives, executive communication, and operational management. In addition, she is responsible for patient experience outcomes. Previously, Alexis worked at both startups and large corporations at the intersection of payers and providers, value-based care, and technology, including at Wellframe (acquired by HeathEdge), Aetna (now CVS), Booz Allen, and Advisory Board (acquired by Optum). She holds an MBA in health care management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in the History of Science from Harvard College.
