As Chief Safety and Transformation Officer, Dr. Gandhi, MPH, CPPS is responsible for improving patient and workforce safety, and developing innovative healthcare transformation strategies. She leads the Zero Harm movement and helps healthcare organizations recognize inequity as a type of harm for both patients and the workforce.

Dr. Gandhi also leads the Press Ganey Equity Partnership, a collaborative initiative dedicated to addressing healthcare disparities and the impact of racial inequities on patients and caregivers. Before joining Press Ganey, Dr. Gandhi served as Chief Clinical and Safety Officer at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), where she led IHI programs focused on improving patient and workforce safety.

Larry Dudas, MD Larry Dudas, MD, Vice President Medical Affairs for Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS), joined the system in August 2011 following completion of his medical residency. He received his medical degree at the Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Dudas has practiced as a hospitalist at NGHS since 2011 and served in various leadership roles including Hospitalist Medical Director, Chief of Inpatient Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Subspecialties, Service Line Director for Inpatient NGPG Medical Specialties, Core Internal Medicine Academic Faculty, Interim Critical Care Co-Medical Director, and Medical Director for Patient Safety and Quality. In 2024, he was promoted to the role of Vice President of Medical Affairs.

Dr. Dudas’ primary responsibilities include direction of the Quality and Safety departments; leading the system quality pillar in a dyad relationship with NGHS’ Chief Operating Officer; management of the Medical Staff services function; partner in facilitating the physician leadership programs; oversight of the medical director activities for the system and serves on multiple medical staff committees. Additionally, he is an active member of the Medical Staff.

Scott has always placed tremendous value on the role of communication. Scott has overseen an incredibly wide variety of medical malpractice litigation and understands the perspective of patients and their families. Scott began his legal career in Waycross, Georgia as a litigator representing plaintiffs, defendants, and insurance companies. While defending medical malpractice cases for the local health system, Scott was asked to become general counsel and later became general counsel for Columbus Regional Health (now part of Piedmont). Scott is currently the Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Northeast Georgia Health System which includes a Level One trauma center, five hospitals, three nursing homes, and hundreds of employed providers. Scott is a skilled listener whose energy and passion for resolving difficult situations resonates clearly during any dispute.

On a personal note, two decades after law school, Scott returned to the academic world and received a Ph.D. in philosophy. You may also find Scott earnestly talking about Pilates, since he is now a Pilates instructor who believes Pilates is unique in helping our bodies function at their highest level.
