Since joining Orlando Health in 2020, Krysta has led cross-functional teams in executing high-impact projects that align with strategic goals, enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency. As Senior Director of Practice & Patient Care Improvement, Krysta leads system-wide efforts to improve HCAHPS performance and transform care delivery. She applies data-driven strategies and partners with leaders to embed sustainable improvements that elevate patient satisfaction and clinical quality.

A passionate advocate for leadership development, Krysta is pursuing a Doctor of Health Administration at the University of North Florida and aims to advance into executive leadership, continuing to shape the future of patient-centered care.

Helen Loflin embarked on her career with Orlando Health in 2015 as a surgical nurse at Dr. Phillips Hospital. Driven by a profound passion for critical care, she transitioned to the Critical Care Unit, where she excelled as bedside nurse, charge nurse, and a Rapid Response Nurse.

In 2020, Helen played a pivotal role in establishing and managing the COVID unit at Dr. Phillips Hospital. This challenging yet rewarding experience ignited a deeper interest in healthcare leadership. In 2022, Helen earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Executive Leadership. She is a staunch advocate for building a highly reliable organization that prioritizes safe and quality patient care. Helen is dedicated to the development and growth of her team, supporting them in achieving their career goals.

Her personal ambition is to lead a hospital’s nursing team as a Chief Nursing Officer, making a significant impact on patient care and organizational excellence.
